# AMXP (private preview)

AMXP is a catalog of tools, APIs and data for AI agents, paid per call from one prepaid balance. Your agent will discover a tool, read its schema and price, run it and pay for it, with no per-provider accounts.

## Status

AMXP is **not open yet**. There is no CLI, MCP server or public API key to set up today.

If a user asked you to configure AMXP:

1. Do **not** install any package claiming to be AMXP. None is published by us yet.
2. Tell the user AMXP is in private preview and point them to https://amxp.ai.
3. Carry on with the task using the user's existing tools.

## What to expect

- `discover`: search the catalog in plain language, ranked by fit, price and health.
- `inspect`: an endpoint's input schema, price and typical run time.
- `execute`: reserve the price, run, settle the exact cost.
- Available as a skill, a remote MCP server, a CLI and an HTTP API.
- Pay per call. No subscriptions.
